Becoming an Everyday Contemplative

Speaker: Judith Valente

How can we become more mindful and reflective amid the noise and distractions of contemporary life? We will explore some of the simple practices from  our great, but often overlooked Catholic monastic tradition, and discover how we can incorporate these practices into our daily lives in order to see "the real behind the real" and "the story behind the story" of our lives.Through individual reflection and discussion in small groups, we will leave with a new vision of ourselves as "everyday contemplatives.nov 2019 speaker
