The community of Queen of All Saints is committed to Christ, sharing God's gifts and building the Church together, through word, worship and service.
I am delighted to welcome you to Queen of All Saints Parish. You have chosen to be part of a vital and vibrant community of faith that is bound together by Christ himself. Together by God’s grace we are continually being built up into the Body of Christ in this part of the world.
Our purpose as a parish is to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ confidently and completely. We do so in order to build a joyful and welcoming community of faith that reaches out enthusiastically through our ministries of word, worship and service.
I know you will find your fellow parishioners to be a warm, friendly and down-to-earth people for whom worship, education and social outreach are important values in their lives. We are very proud of our past; we enjoy one another’s company in the present; and we look forward to a future full of hope and promise. We are all very pleased that you have chosen to join us on our pilgrimage of faith.
I am particularly pleased to welcome you to the Basilica of Queen of All Saints as you begin this pilgrimage of faith. The Basilica soars a hundred feet above the neighborhoods of Sauganash and Lincolnwood as a beacon of the Catholic faith for all to look upon the gleaming limestone of its walls and arches. Its bells mark the passage of time, call people to prayer, toll in times of sorrow and peal in times of joy. The arms of the Basilica reach out to welcome all who come for a simple visit or to sink roots for a lifetime.
I am confident that you will be happy that you chose to be a member of Queen of All Saints Parish. In the name of Christ, I welcome you. May God bless you and your family.
Blessings!!
