RCIA, which stands for Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, is a process where new members are fully initiated into the life of the Catholic Church through baptism, confirmation, and the Eucharist. It is a program of prayer, study, and dialogue which are marked by rites at Mass throughout the year. In addition to RCIA sessions, participants will be encouraged to engage in the life of the parish through faith and service opportunities.
During COVID RCIA meets virtually at 9:30am on Sunday mornings October through the end of February. During the season of Lent RCIA meets at 7:00pm on Wednesday evenings.
If you are interested in learning more about RCIA contact Erika Tate at etate@qasparish.org.
Children who missed the opportunity to prepare for the sacraments, are invited to attend special sessions about the Roman Catholic faith. Sacraments of Initiation are received after a two year period of preparation.
