Registration for classes is over. Please call the Religious Education office for more information. It is important that our families register on time in order for volunteer catechists to be recruited and trained; books, supplies, and materials to be ordered; and classrooms and worship spaces be reserved on campus.
In addition to religious education all families should be attending (or streaming) weekly Mass, going to confession (when available), participating in family prayer, and engaging in acts of service.
First Communion and Confirmation Requirements
Students wanting to participate in First Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation must attend a minimum of two years of Religious Education as per the archdiocesan requirement. Additional classes, parent meetings, and retreats may be required in order to prepare properly for the sacraments.
First Reconciliation and First Communion are traditionally received in second grade after two consecutive years of Religious Education. Students who are older than second grade will be enrolled in an additional class during their second year of Religious Education (these families will be contacted during the second year).
