MISSION
The Widowed Group gives ongoing support to widowed men and women. We welcome
any person who has lost a spouse.
We are helping each other cope with our losses, sharing in rebuilding our lives, and finding strength in our group. We invite all widows and widowers in our parish and surrounding parishes to join us at any time. Come and meet others who are experiencing the same loss.
ACTIVITIES
Our activities include dinners in restaurants, Sunday brunches, theater productions, trips to museums, outings to Ravinia, Botanic Gardens, Navy Pier, Grant Park concerts and any current event the group decides would interest them. Two or three times a year we publish a newsletter with dates, times, and locations of our activities. Members are free to come to any or all events and to bring a friend if they wish. Membership dues are $10 each year to help pay for supplies.
